Jupyter notebooks are nice, but they do not come close to IDE's for writing Scala code (Python too).
It would be great if we included Eclipse CHE in DSX to give us the power of the IDE from the DSX environment:
I couldn't agree more, having better capabilities to improve developer productivity with a proper IDE support and better ease of being able to code is critical for DSX as a product. The notebooks are interesting for tutorials or exploration but IDE capabilities would be essential for writing production code. Also IDE support will be vitally important to winning over developers/data scientists and actually getting DSX deployed and used.
