Allow Timestamp Functions/Operations on Data Flows

We are struggling to get data from remote connections/servers for a determined period of time. We can make some calculations with other data types, but not with timestamps. We end up retrieving massive amount of data into our cloud environment, impacting flow performance significantly (currently having flows that take more than 20 minutes to complete running and reading and writting more than Millions of records) and increasing our DBs capacity unnecessarily. We would like to have this functionality implemented in order to enhance data filtering when creating a flow which will benefit all of the service users.

Why is it useful?
Who would benefit from this IDEA? As a developer, I would create enhanced flows filtering data more properly. As service user, performance will increase with more efficient flows. As user, I will get data much more closer to real time.
How should it work?

We just enabled about 50% of the command line operations for date and time fields. We are also adding more filter and calculation operations for date and time fields as GUI operations. Please let me know if you are looking for a very specific one.

    Hi Carmen,

Were any of the functions enabled already? We haven't seen them yet. Regarding, specific ones, we just need to deal with date comparisons (=, <=, >=) and to ease it's use year(), month() to begin with.
